A quick look at the timeline of The Digital Mafia courtesty of C0nfl1ct. Check out what we've been up to for
the past 9 years!

September 9,1999 - With the anticipation of the launch of what would be the first console to ever network players in what would be called SegaNet, founders of what would be called "The Digital Mafia" formulate a plan to achieve god-like status online within this network over several games and founded "The Digital Mafia Gaming Clan".

September 9,2000 - With the arrival of the SegaNet network came a rush of concripts to bolster the ranks of the Digital Mafia. We experienced great success in such games as NFL2K1, Quake, and Phantasy Star Online. Membership was at an all time high and the Digital Mafia prospered; even earning them a notable mention in Electronic Gaming Monthly.

January 31, 2001 - Success followed, until the catastrophic closing of the SegaNet framework. With the closing of most games to the online wonders of SegaNet came the inevitable collapse, and hiatus, of the bulk of our clan. Only a few loyal members stayed around to weather the storm, and promised to keep the clan alive in the future.

November 15, 2002 - November 15th, 2002 signaled the launch of the revolutionary-to-be service for the Microsoft Xbox called "Xbox Live". It also served as a wake up call to the dormant behemoth called the "Digital Mafia". With the launch of xbox live came the re-grouping of the founders of the clan and the re-organization of its core group of members. This resurface also saw the introduction of an old SegaNet rival and friend, SG Scott, who would serve as a future leader and driving force behind the new Digital Mafia age.

November 18th, 2003 - The launch of Counter-Strike for the Xbox saw, easily, the biggest game for the Digital Mafia in the Xbox era. The main core group of gamers included DM DaAnde, DM DaMasta, DM SGScottW04. Also, joining the group after discovering someone else had taken the name "Digital Mafia" for their Xbox CS clan was netraptor. DM netraptor and DM MStJean decided to join forces and lead the CS team to greatness. The CS team fought hard on the TeamCompete ladder, achieving great success and making it to a top spot of #8 out of hundreds of clans.

November 5th, 2005 - With the launch of the Xbox360 the Digital Mafia decided to resurface again and lay reaping to all who would oppose them. And, with the next stage of the development of console online gaming themed sites and community forums, recruitment started to take off on multiple fronts to bolster the once mighty ranks of the Digital Mafia's small, but powerful army.

Present - The Digital Mafia is once again up on its feet, and almost at 100%. Their Call Of Duty 3 team is splitting heads open left and right. Their Rainbow Six Vegas team is beginning to play with confidence despite the numerous bugs and countless naysayers. And, their sport leagues are winning championships at an all time high. Also, with the anticipation of Counter-Strike Source coming to Xbox360 one can truly say, "The best is yet to come".

Believe it.

Note from the leader:
Our objective, as a clan, is to compete, gain respect, and form a community. Members have come and gone over the years, but the Digital Mafia has survived. We remember those who have played side by side with us, called friends, and still call friends. No one can take us down. Nothing can take us down.

Sincerely,
DM C0nfl1ct
